With EA taking over LucasArts, a long awaited Star Wars game may finally come to fruition.

E3 has always been the place for the next big game to get a reveal, but so many E3s have passed without a Star Wars: Battlefront announcement that many fans thought the series was dead.

All we know so far is that the game will run on the Frostbite 3 engine, mostly used for the acclaimed Battlefield series, and is being developed by Dice.

The last time an entry in the series was on a console was 2005, with Star Wars: Battlefront II. Now, with Disney owning Star Wars, this new game could potentially feature some locations from the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII.

Check out the trailer, feature the Battle of Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back.
