The First Trailer For X-Men: Apocalypse Brings the Heat!

The longest running superhero film franchise of all time isn’t going anywhere. This trailer is proof, as Apocalypse looks to be the biggest, most destructive film in the series yet.

Most notably, this first trailer manages to squeeze in a peak at just about major cast member, new and old. Our first look is at Jean Grey (Game of Thrones‘s Sophie Turner taking over for Famke Jannsen), who is having a futuristic vision of an apocalyptic future. She’s part of the new generation of X-Men, along with Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), and Jubilee (Lana Condor). Returning members from the last two films include Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne), Havok (Lucas Till), and Quicksilver (Evan Peters).

But the big bad is of course Apocalypse himself (Oscar Isaac), who is rumored to be the first ever mutant, having been around since ancient Egyptian times. He looks to have recruited Magneto (Michael Fassbender) as one of his four horsemen, with the other being Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), and Angel (Ben Hardy).

Bryan Singer returns to direct after the immensely successful X-Men: Days of Future PastX-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016. Check out the trailer below!
