The World’s End Domestic Trailer Brings the Laughs

Edgar Wright’s follow up to Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz got a brand new trailer, which already delivers some of the laughs of those films.

The World’s End has actually been talked about by audiences for longer than just about any other movie coming out this summer.

Hot Fuzz hit theaters in 2007 with Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost promising another film to cap the trilogy of sorts.

That film was not Paul, which saw Pegg and Frost in the leading roles but did not benefit from Wright’s particular writing style.

The new trailer for The World’s End already proves it will be everything Paul wasn’t. It also shows that 2013 will certainly have a trend of (hopefully) great end of the world comedies (with This is the End starring James Franco and Seth Rogen as themselves hitting theaters early next month).

The World’s End hits theaters August 23. Check out the new trailer below!
